The MTA as part of their “Eye on the Future” initiative has been replacing the runned down Station Platforms and Canopies as they continue to age. Tri-State Metals has worked with Morin (a Kingspan Company) to to supply the 20ga Kynar 500 Zinc Gray 2″ Standing Seam Double Locked Mechanical roof panels.
In addition to the panels TSM has been fabricating custom tapered and pitch gutter systems and hangers to meet the needs of the various stations. So far we have work with customers to complete 4 stations on the Brooklyn 31st Street line.
